University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) Enlists Collegiate Consulting for Head Men’s Basketball Coach Search

BALTIMORE, MD (April 20, 2016) – The University of Maryland Baltimore County enlisted the services of Collegiate Consulting in its recent search for a new Head Coach for the men’s basketball program. The search concluded with the hiring of Ryan Odom, UMBC announced at a press conference on April 7, 2016. Odom, previously the Head Coach at Lenoir-Rhyne University, succeeds Aki Thomas as Head Coach of the Retrievers.
Collegiate Consulting worked closely with Athletic Director Tim Hall, UMBC administration, and the search committee to create a strong, diverse pool of applicants and provided support throughout the process. Additionally, the firm aided in the development of the job listing as well as candidate recruitment and vetting.
