Collegiate Consulting Conducts Tarleton State Feasibility Study

Tarleton StateSTEPHENVILLE, Texas – Collegiate Consulting recently conducted a feasibility study and benchmarking analysis for the Tarleton State University athletics department. Currently exploring potential Division I opportunities, TSU will use the study to help project revenues, expenses, staffing and more.
The five-month study included qualitative interviews of key constituencies, an analysis of the Southland Conference, facility benchmarking and even a summary of potential new varsity sports.

“Collegiate Consulting left no stone unturned in their feasibility study,” stated TSU Athletics Director Lonn Reisman. “We want what is best for Texans student-athletes and fans, and Collegiate Consulting’s analysis gives us a blueprint to grow and explore additional areas of success.”

A program with a long and rich history of success in both the NAIA and NCAA Division II, Tarleton State’s 2014-15 enrollment of over eleven thousand and athletic budget of over $6.6 million make the University well-positioned to compete within Division I.

“We are extremely grateful for the opportunity to work with Tarleton State,” said Collegiate Consulting Managing Director Russell Wright. “The quality of their leadership and support is a huge reason for their continued success in the Lone Star Conference, and will go a long way in helping them explore Division I possibilities.”
