Collegiate Consulting Completes West Texas A&M University Feasibility Study

CANYON, Texas (February 12, 2019) – Collegiate Consulting recently completed its advancement project with West Texas A&M University.  The 12-month engagement, headed by Dr. Bill Estes included a feasibility study and staff training.

The Feasibility Study was completed in anticipation of $11 million fundraising campaign to complete the new Buffalo Stadium and expand the Bain Athletic Center.  This included developing a case for support, conducting a wealth screening program of 90 athletic prospective donors, and interviewing WTAMU’s top-25 potential donors.

Collegiate Consulting’s staff training was done to develop a systemic campaign program, which included writing a campaign case for support document, establishing a campaign proposal format, discussing solicitation teams and educating about the solicitation and recognition process.  The staff efforts have achieved 50% of the capital campaign goal in the first year.

“We were very pleased with the work provided by Collegiate Consulting and their consultant, Dr. Bill Estes.  They provided a framework for achieving our goals and taught us how to move forward and put us in great position to hit our fundraising goal,” stated WTAMU director of athletics Michael McBroom.

This was the firm’s second advancement study in the past 12 months in the state of Texas, as Collegiate Consulting had completed a similar project for the University of Texas of the Permian Basin as part of their expanded athletic facilities and strategic plan launch.
